අණ කරනවා, v. (dat of per., acc. of thing), command, order, enjoin.

ආ දිෂ්ට, a. commanded, enjoined, අණකරනලද: shown, දක්වනලද.

පංසු·කුලිකාංගය, n. B., rubbish-heap ordinance, which enjoins the priests to wear robes made from cast-off clothes on rubbish heaps, dunghills &c.

පත්ත·පිණ්ඩිකාංගය, n. (පත්ත bowl, පිණ්ඩික rice-eating, අංගය section or ordinance) ordinance which enjoins on B. P. to take food only on one platter.

යථා·සන්තනීකාංගය, n. (යථා as, සන්තතික spread, අංගය ordinance), ordinance enjoining upon the B. P. not to shift or alter the mat or bed when spread out to repose on. As it is laid down so it must remain. This is one of the තෙළෙස්ධූතාංග.

යු‍ග·මාත්‍රා·දර්‍ශනය, n. yoke-length vision, viz looking only the length of a yoke when travelling or in public, as enjoined upon the B. P.

රුක්ඛ·මූලිකාංගය, n. (රුක්ඛ tree, මූලික root, අංගය ordinance), the ordinance which enjoins upon the B. P. always to lodge at the foot of a tree without any other shelter than the tree affords.

සොසානිකාංගය, n. (අංගය), one of the තෙළෙස් ධූතාංග: the ordinance of the B. P. which enjoins devout meditation in a burial ground at midnight.
