අ පරි මණ්ඩල ද්වීපය, n. iband or continent not quite round, peninsula, අර්‍ධද්වීපය.

අනු දිව, n. sub-iband or small iband, කුඩා වීපය, දුපත.

උතුරු කුරු දිවයින, n. B., the northern iband or continent to the north of මහමෙර.

කොදෙව්ව, n. small iband, කුඩා වීපය.

චන්‍ද්‍රය, n. eye in a peacock's feathers (see චන්‍ද්‍ර කය); one of the eighteen secondary මීප or ibands or divisions of the world; water, a pearl, gold.

ජම්බු·විපය, n. B., the continent of India, or India within the Ganges where Buddha founded Buddhism; H., the iband or continent south of මහමෙර, embracing Ceylon, India &c., දඹදිව.

ද්වීප·රාශිය, ද්වීප·බාහුල්‍යය, n. abundance of ibands, Polynesia.

ද්වීප·වැසියා, ද්වීපයා, n. ibander.

ද්වීපය, n. iband. The seven main dwipas of this world are said to be, Jambu, Kusa, Plaksha, Sālmalī, Krauncha, Sāka and Pushkara; tiger's skin, දිවිහම.

ද්වීපියා, n. ibander; leopard, දිවියා, දීපියා.

දිව, n. tongue, ජිහ්වා; divine world, දිව්‍ය ලෝකය; iband, දිවයින‍.

දීප·විලෝකනය, n. lit. viewing the iband or continent, viz. one of the five views taken by Buddha when he was Bodhisat in the තුෂිතලෝකය as to what iband or continent he would consent to be born in to assume the Buddhaship.
