අධි ෂ්ඨාන පාරමිතාව, n. duty or attainment of determination of will, a B. ordinance.

අභවකාසිකාංගය, n. (අංගය), open-air ordinance, viz. the ordinance in B. which requires monks to live altogether without shelter.

ආඥා පණත, n. ordinance.

ආරණ්‍යකාංගය, n. (අංගය), B., forest-dwelling ordinance, viz. ordinance which requires the priests to reside in forests or solitary places: see තෙලෙස්ධූතාංග.

ඒකාසනිකාංගය, n. B. P. ordinance relating to the use of only one seat when eating offerings: see තෙළෙස්ධූතාංග.

කසිණ පරිකර්‍මය, කසිණ ප්‍රසාධනය, n. observance of the disk-ordinance or necessaries of the disk-ordinance in meditation. See the next word also.

ක්‍ෂාන්ත පාරමිතාව, n. the attainment or observance of forbearance or impassiveness, stoicism, a B ordinance.

ඡන්නය, n. ordinance, precept, නියෝගය.

තපසංගය, n. (තපස් අංගය), ordinance pert. to asceticism, anyone of the thirteen ordinances to be observed by an ascetic.

තෙළෙස්·ධුතාංග, n. pl. (ධූත subjugating, අංග sections), the thirteen passion-subduing ordinances to he observed by B. P., viz. පංසු කූලිකාංගය, පිණ්ඩපාතිකාංගය, තේචිවරිකාංගය, සපදානචාරිකාංගය, ඒකාසනිකාංගය, පත්තපිණ්ඩි කාංගය, පච්ඡාභත්තිකිංගය, ආරණ්‍යකාංගය, රුක්ඛමූලිකාංගය, අබ්හෝකාසිකාංගය, සෝසනි කාංගය, යථාසන්‍ථතිකංගය, නේසජ්ජිකාංගය For the explanation of these see each one in its alphabetical place.

ද්වි·විධ·ශීල, n. pl. the two kinds of religions ordinances: positive and negative, viz. චාරිත්ත, observances, and වාරිත්ත, prohibitions or things to be avoided.

දුස්සීල, a. irreligious, tranagressing religious ordinances, wicked, immoral.

ධුතාංග, n. pl. (·අංග portions or sections), self-denying ordinances: see තෙළෙස් ධූතාංග.

නියෝගය, n. command, order, decree, ordinance, statute, precept.
