අප වජිනය, n. abandonment, අත් ඇරීම; gift, දීම; final surrender or emancipation, Nirvana.

ආත්ම පරිත්‍යාගය, n. self-surrender, self-devotion, කැමැත්තෙන්ම කැපවීම.

තනු·ත්‍යාගය, n. surrender of the body, leaving the body, death, තුරන්වීම; sacrificing the body for charity or religion, as Buddha, who is said to have given his flesh and blood to feed the poor and animals and to satisfy demons.

දාන·පරිත්‍යාගය, n. presenting offerings or alms, free gift or surrender of offerings.

දේහ ත්‍යාගය, n. surrender of the body, viz. death, මරණය.

පංච·මහා·පරිත්‍යාග, n. pl. H., the five principal surrenders or kinds of worship presented: to spirits, progenitors and gods by offerings, to the Vedas by study, and to mankind by hospitality; B., five offerings made by Buddha alone: eyes, flesh, blood, head, wife and children.

පරි·ත්‍යාගකරනවා‍, v. t. to give, donate, තෑගි කොට දෙනවා; devote, කැපකරනවා; surrender, පාවාදෙනවා.

ප්‍රාණ·ත්‍යාගය, n. surrender of life, death, මරණය.

පාවාදෙනවා, v. t. to give in charge, surrender, betray.

බාරවෙනවා, v. i. to commit or entrust one's self to; surrender or devote one's self to;‍ submit to; vow, (of one vow) බාරයක් වෙනවා.

භාරවෙනවා, v. i. to commit, one's self to, resign one's self, surrender or devote one's self.
