නැත, නැත්, ad. no, not; also, there is or are not: negative of the verb substantive, whilst ‍නොවේ negatives the copula: ඒක නැත or නෑ that does not exist or is not present, ඒක ‍නොවේ it is not that.

නගනවා, v. t. to raise up, lift up; build; tranbate into (a language); pret. නැගුවා; v. n. නැගීම.

නරක්කරනවා, v. t. to spoil, mar, corrupt, contaminate.

නාභි·ජයා, n. navel-born: ap. of Brahma as produced from the lotus which sprang from Vishnu's navel.

නව·ලෝකෝත්තරධර්‍ම, n. pl. (ලෝක උත්තර), the nine world-eminent doctrines, viz. those relating to the four stages or courses of purification with their four fruitions and Nirvána.
