අ සං සෘතිය, n. non-transrnigration, absorption (of being), සංසාරය නැතිකම.

අවධූනනය, n. shaking &c., සෙලවීම, වෙවුලුම.

අකුරකින් විදිනවා, v. to shoot with a small stone for augury. This is done by taking stones between the two fore-fingers and projecting them against the bark and leaves of trees and then predicting coming events according to the marks made by the stones.

අත් පත්වෙනවා, v. i. to come into one's possession, fall to one, receive.

අරුණ ප්‍රභාව, අරුණලු, අරුණලෝකය, n. (අලු, ආලෝක) light or shining of the dawn, ඉර පායන්‍ට ප්‍රථම එළිය.

අස්ත, a. cast, thrown, දමනලද; set, descended, බැස්ස; left, ඉතුරු.

අභ්‍රංලිහ, a. cloud-touching, sky-touching, අහස ට තැවරෙන.

අ දක්ෂ, a. unskilful, clumsy, awkward, දක්ෂ නැති.

අංශු මාලී, n. garland or disk of light, viz, the sun.
