භීම, n. ap. of Siva, the terrible: one of the five පාණ්ඩු princes.

භූ·කම්පා·දර්‍ශක·යන්ත්‍රය, n. seismoscope, භූමි කම්පා පෙන්වන යන්ත්‍රය.

භාෂාන්තරය, n. (·අන්තර other), a different or other language or version, අන්‍යභාෂාවක්.

භූ·පුත්‍රයා, n. son of the earth: ap. of the regent of the planet Mars, who is said to have been turned up out of the ground by a plough.

භූමි·ප්‍රදේශ·චිත්‍රකාරයා, n. geol. upheaval of the earth, catastrophe.

භද්‍ර·කල්පය, n. the auspicious කල්පය or period of the world: there are said to be four kalpas, three of which have elapsed; this is the fourth and is called the auspicious kalpa because in it five Buddhas are to appear, four of whom have already appeared, and the fifth, called Maitri Buddha, is yet to come.

භ්‍රං·කාරය, n. (භ්‍රං imitative sound, කාරය making), humming, buzzing noise. E. S.
