යාත්‍රා·පැත්ත,යාත්‍රාංශය, n. (යාත්‍රා අංශය), tack, direction of sailing.

යජුර්‍වෙදය, n. (යජුස්වේදය), the Yajur Veda, one of the four Védas. It is divided into two parts, the black and the white, both of which are chiefly on religious rites, and its prayers are chiefly in metrical prose, යජුස්.

යෙදෙනවා, v. t. of යොදනවා: to become formed, form; comport with, befit; to be engaged in, occupied with. It is also a verb aux. with other verbs in the infinitive, as ඕහු ලියුම ලියන්ට යෙදුණ, It occurred that he wrote the letter or he did write the letter; sp. used to unite a number of coordinate verbs, as ඔහු මේක කරන්ටත් ලියුම ලියන්ටත් යෙදුණ, he both did this and wrote the letter; pret. යෙදුණ; u. n. යෙදීම.

යුතිකරනවා, v. t. unite, couglutinate, ගළපනවා,අලවනවා.

යෝගේෂ්ට, n. (යෝග union, ඉෂ්ට desiring), the metal lead, ඊයම්.
