අත් අතුර, n. space between the arms, viz. the breast, bosom, ළැපැත්ත.

අන්‍යෝන්‍ය ඝාතක, අන්‍යෝන්‍ය නාශක, a. killing one another; internecine, පරස්පරනාශක, ඔවු නොවුන් මරාගන්න.

අශ්ව තරයා, n. mule; a chief of the Nāgas or serpents who inhabit පාතාලය.

අ කාම, a. without desires or lust, passionless, කෙලෙස් නැති, රාග නැති.

අග්‍ර දක්ෂිණහි, අග්‍රදාක්ෂිණ්‍ය, a. very meritorious or worthy, ඉතා පින්වත්.

අසන්තෝෂය, n. displeasure; unwillingness, සන්තෝෂ නැතිකම, අමනාපය.

අෂ්ට විධ පාන, n. pl. B., the eight kinds of beverage allowed to priests, viz. that made from මීපැණි, මුද්‍රිකඵල, බොරළුදමනු, උපුල්අල, ඇට කෙසෙල්, මස් කෙසෙල්, අඹ, and දඹ: see each in its place. The juice of these is to be mixed with water.

අමියු, v. adj pret. (of අමියනවා), ate, eaten, කෑවාවූ.

අනේක ජයා, n. (ජ produced), one not of single birth, viz, a bird, as produced in the shell and from the shell, කුරුල්ලා.
