අ කම්ප්‍ය, a. not to be shaken, immovable, නොසෙල්වෙන; impassive, stoical, උපේක්ෂක.

අග් උවටා, n. chief attendant or servant, ප්‍රධාන උපස්ථායකයා.

අනුපසපන්, අනුපසම්පන්න, a. (අන් උප:), B. P. not of full attainment, unordained, උපසම්පද්‍ර නොලත්.

අප දේශය, n. disguise, අන්වේසය; pretext, pretence, subterfuge, බොරු උපාය.

අභ්‍යුපාය, n. (අභි උපාය), expedient, resource, means, උපාය, උපක්‍රමය.

අෂ්ට විධ පාන, n. pl. B., the eight kinds of beverage allowed to priests, viz. that made from මීපැණි, මුද්‍රිකඵල, බොරළුදමනු, උපුල්අල, ඇට කෙසෙල්, මස් කෙසෙල්, අඹ, and දඹ: see each in its place. The juice of these is to be mixed with water.
