අති ක්‍රමණයකරනවා v. t. to go beyond, pass beyond, එපිට යනවා, transgress, කඩකරනවා; pass (an exam.), exceed, surpass. E. S.

එපා, part. (probably from ඒ පහ – that aside): signifying with first pers. dat. case, not wanted, will not accept; with 2nd pers. nom. case as an auxiliary after the infinitive mood it is prohibitive, as උඹ or උඹලා යන්ට එපා, Go thou or ye not.

එපාකම, n. unwillingness, carelessness.

එපාකරනවා, v. t. to reject, discard, disown.

එපාවෙනවා, v. i. to be rejected &c.
