අගත්ති, n. pl. a sort of pebbles. Bot.

අටගන්නවා, v. i. to germinate, spring up; be produced, arise; pret. අටගත්තා; v. n. අට ගැනීම.

උගතා, n. a learned person, pandit, scholar, literate; pl. උගත්තෝ, උගත්තු.

උගන්නවා, v. t. to learn: ord. ඉගෙනගන්නවා; pret. උගත්තා.

ගන්නවා, v. t. to take, accept; buy. Used also with the p. pl. of another verb to express the reflexive sense or that the action is done to or for one's self or mutually, as ඔහු ගෙයක් සාදාගත්තා. He built himself a house; ඔවුන් කථාකරගත්තා. They conversed together; pret. ගත්තා; p. pl. ගන or ගෙන; v. n. ගැනීම.

දැනගන්නවා, v. t. to ascertain, find out, discover, come to know; pret. දැනගත්තා; v. n. දැනගැනීම.

දිනනවා, දිනාගන්නවා, v. to win in a contest, gain the victory or prize; pret. දිනුවා, දිනා ගත්තා; v. n. දිනීම.

දෙමළ·ගත්තරා, n. person of a caste so called: they are supposed to be descendants of Tamil captives taken by Sinhalese kings.

දොයි·යනවා, v. (of infants) to go to beep, fall abeep; pret. දොයියාගත්තා.

නිදනවා, නිදාගන්නවා, v. to beep, go to beep; pret. නිදාගත්තා; v. n. නිදාගැනීම.

බදනවා, බදාගන්නවා, v. t. to grasp in the arms, embrace; pret. බැදුවා, බදාගත්තා; v. n. බැදිම &c.
