ඇස නො පහළ විරි or විරු, a. such as had not met the eye—been seen—before, නුදුටුවිරු.

න, prefix, with a negative, privative or prohibitive force. Its normal form is නො, as නොකර, but its vowel is varied according to the vowel which follows and sometimes is merely න‍. Thus නාරින for නොඅරින, නෑර, for නොඇර, නේන for නොඑන, නූපන් for නො උපන්, නුදුටු &c., but not නී, as නොඉල්ලා, not නීල්ලා.

විරු, විරූ, suf. To verbal forms,. such as, නුදුටු විරු දේ Things such as had not been seen, නුදුටු ආකාර දේ.
