ප්‍රති·සන්‍ධි·චිත්තය, n. (ප්‍රති again, සන්‍ධි connection, චිත්තය the mind), the mind which in trans-emigration connects any two successive existences: see ප්‍රතිසන්‍ධිය.

සතර·ප්‍රති·සන්‍ධිය, n. (ප්‍රතිසන්‍ධිය reunion), the four modes in which beings re-appear or come again into manifest, existence, viz. born from a womb, from eggs, as worms, or by chance, which latter is a supernatural or spontaneous embodiment called ඕපාපාතික.

සන්‍ධිය, n. (සං together, ධා to hold), union, junction, combination, connection, සම්බන්‍ධය; juncture, occasion, ප්‍රස්තාව; hinge, අසව්ව; hole, වළ, සිදුර, gap, breach, කඩුල්ල, සන්‍ධිලාව; gram. junction of words or of the components of a word, as සන්තෝෂ for සං or සම් and තෝෂ; junction of a departing spirit with another body at the instant that body is conceived, rejunction, ප්‍රතිසන්‍ධිය, conception, පිළිසිඳීම.
