අපර භාගය, n. the afternoon, පස්වරුව, සවස් වරුව.

අපාම්පතියා, n. (අපාම් Sans. gen. pl. of අප: water, පති Lord), Lord of the waters: ap. of the ocean, සමුද්‍රය, and of Varuna: see වරුණ.

අවර දේවතාවා, n. Varuna, god of the West, වරුණදෙවියෝ.

අස්පර්ෂිත, අස්පෘෂ්ට, a. untouched, අත &c. නො තැවරුණු.

ඊශ්වරේශ්වරයා, n. (ඊශ්වර ඊශ්වරයා), God of gods, Lord of lords, දෙවිවරුන්ගේ දෙවියෝ, ස්වාමි වරුන්ගේ ස්වාමියා.

උදය භාගය, n. the morning half, forenoon, පෙරවරුව.

කුණ්ඩලියා, n. snake, සර්‍පයා; peacock, මොනරා; ap. of Varuna, වරුණයා.

ගෞරාව, ගෞරී, n. young girl, virgin, කන්‍යාව the goddess Durgā, දුර්‍ගා, also the wife of වරුණදෙවියෝ.

තවරනවා, v. t. to smear: as මේකට තෙල් තව රනවා; to touch; pret. තැවරුවා; v. n. තැව රීම.

තැවරෙනවා, v. i. to lightly touch along something, rub against; to be smeared on, as මෙකේතීන්ත තැවරී තිබෙනවා, Ink has become smeared on this; pret. තැවරුණ.

දුන්, n. acc. pl. of දූ for දූවරුන්.

දෙ·වරුව, n. both halves of the day, viz. forenoon and afternoon.

දෙව්·සපු, n. divine pleasure or (pl.) pleasures viz. pleasures of the gods in Swarga, දෙවි වරුන්ගේ සැපත.

දොර·පුවරුව, n. door-board, board which serves for a door.

පවරනවා, v. t. to devolve upon, foist or thrust upon, impose; impute, as දොස් පවරනවා, accuse, censure; to invite and settle (a B.P. in a house during the rainy season); pret. පැවරුවා; v. n. පැවරීම.
