අ සංඛත, a. without addition; ep. of Nirvāna, අ සංඛත ධාතුව, n. additionless, state viz. Nirvāna, නිවන.

අ සකත, a. (අ priv., සකත attached), indifferent to, not addicted to, ඇලුම් නැති.

අනු යාගය, n. an accompanying or additional offering.

උප, prefix signifying auxiliary, secondary, near; over, in addition, excessive.

උප හාරය, n. additional or complimentary gift, present, offering, දීමනාව, පඬුර.

එකතුකිරීම, v. n. adding &c; arith. addition.

ඒ, n. The twelfth letter of the alphabet. Its sound is that of the preceding vowel lengthened: as a in Fade, but somewhat broader, the initial sound of it being maintained throughout, without changing into i as the English sound does: consequently in English words it would seem somewhat inelegant. Its non-initial form is the same as the preceding, but lengthened by the addition of /?/ or ි to the consonant, as කේ ké (cay), මේ mé (may).

ධාය්‍යාව, n. fire-lighting incantation, to be used when lighting a fire or adding fuel.

ධූර්‍ත,ධූර්‍ත්ත, a. addicted to (something bad), immoral, profligate, vicious, dissolute.

නියුක්තවෙනවා, v. i. to engage in, addict or devote one's self to.

පමා·දන, n. (පමා pleasures, දන persons), persons addicted to pleasures.
