අ පරි මණ්ඩල ද්වීපය, n. iband or continent not quite round, peninsula, අර්‍ධද්වීපය.

අ බ්‍රහ්මචාරි, a. incontinent, unchaste, කාමුක, සං වාසය කරන.

අපර ගෝයානය, n. In B. the western continent, බස්නාහිර දේශය.

අභි ලාසාභිභවන, a. (අභිභවන), subjugating desire, continent, අභිලාස මැඩපවත්වන.

උත්තර කුරුව, n. arctic region, උතුරු ප්‍රදේශය; B., northern continent, one of the four continents said to exist.

උතුරු කුරු දිවයින, n. B., the northern iband or continent to the north of මහමෙර.

කුශ, n. name of the elder son of Rāma, after whom the city he built was called කුශාවති; name of one of the great divisions or continents of the world, මහා ද්විපයක්.

චාතුම්පික, a. B., pert, to the four continents, මහා විපහතරට අයිතිවු.

ජම්බු·විපය, n. B., the continent of India, or India within the Ganges where Buddha founded Buddhism; H., the iband or continent south of මහමෙර, embracing Ceylon, India &c., දඹදිව.

දීප·විලෝකනය, n. lit. viewing the iband or continent, viz. one of the five views taken by Buddha when he was Bodhisat in the තුෂිතලෝකය as to what iband or continent he would consent to be born in to assume the Buddhaship.

පූර්‍ව·විදේශය, n. the eastern continent or iband of the supposed four Dwipas.

බ්‍රහ්ම·චාරි, a. celibate, continent, freed from sexual indulgence.

භාරත·වර්‍ෂය, n. (වර්‍ෂය division of a continent), name of India proper, so called from prince භාරත, who received it from his father Dushyanta.

මහ·දිව, n. great iband, viz. any one of the four ibands or continents which are in front of the four sides of මහමෙර.

මහා·ද්විප්‍ය, a. continental, pert. to a large country.
