අ ගූඪ ඥානය, n. superficial knowledge, smattering, අල්ප දැනගැන්ම.

අ රූප ධර්‍මය, n. B. bodiless state or the four mental states, viz. sensation, perception, apprehension, knowledge.

අ විද්‍යාව, n. absence of knowledge, ignorance, නොදැනීම, නොදැනුම්කම.

අංගී කාරය, n. agreement, promise, pledge, පොරොන්දුව.

අංගී කෘත, a. agreed, promised, pledged, පො රොන්දුවූ.

අක්ෂි විද්‍යාව, n. knowledge of the eyes, ophthalmology, ඇස් විද්‍යාව.

අගු කොන, n. edge of the eaves, roof-edge.

අත් පඬුර, n. something given as a pledge, earnest-money.

අද්දර, n. margin, edge, border.

අධි ගමනය, අධි ගමය, n. fig. the higher journey or saintly life which leads to Arhatship and Nirvāna; acquisition; study, knowledge.

අනාගත ඥානය, n. future knowledge or knowledge of the future.

අනාවරණ ඥානය, n. unobstructed or clear knowledge, අසම්පූර්‍ණ ඥානය, omniscience.

අනු භුතිය, n. knowledge of, දැනුම, දැනගැන්ම, experience, enjoyment, අත්දැකිම, භුක්තිය.

අභි ඥාත, a. ascertained, known, දැන‍‍‍ගනතිබෙව, දන්නාලද, අභිඥානය, අභිඥාව n profound or sp. or extraordinary knowledge, cognition, recognition, විශේෂ දැනගැන්ම or දැනීම; five supernatural acquirements of Rahats, viz. power to assume any form, to hear the feeblest sounds and see objects at any distance, to know the disposition and thoughts of others, to know the condition of any person in former existences.

අභි සම්බුඬිය, n. thorough knowledge, universal knowledge, intuitive perception, සම්පූණ්‍ර්‍ දැනගැන්ම or දැනීම.
