අඩ මස, n. half of a month, a fortnight.

අව පක්ෂය, n. the latter half, viz. fortnight of the moon's wane.

අවර පක්ෂය, n. the fortnight of the moon's wane.

උත්තර පක්ෂය, n. n. the replying, side; the reply (to a charge or argument); fortnight of the moon's wane, අපරපක්ෂය.

ද්වි·සප්තාහය, n. two weeks, fortnight, දෙසතියක්.

පුර·දිය·වක, n. second day of the first lunar fortnight.

පුර·පෑළවිය, n. first day of the first lunar fortnight.

සූ·පර්‍වන්, n. (සු emp., පර්‍ව joint or knot), bamboo, උණගහ; arrow, ඊය; a special lunar day on which religious ceremonies are performed as the full and new moon and the 8th and the 14th days of each fortnight.
