ක්ෂණ භංගය, n. sudden breakdown, instant collapse or destruction, හදිසි බිඳීම or විනාශය.

ක්ෂණය, n. moment, instant, මොහොත; period, වතාව; festival, මංගල්‍යය.

ක්ෂණයේම, ad.immediately, instantly, as soon as.

නි·මිෂය, නි·මෙස, නි·මේෂය, n. twinkling of an eye; an instant; ඇසිපියහෙළීම; ඇසිල්ල.

නිමේෂාන්තරය, n. the interval between winks, an instant, ඇසිල්ල.

ප්ලුත, a. long, protracted, as the protracted vowels හේ and රෝ in මෙහේ... වරෝ..., which have three syllabic instants or are three times as long as the short vowels.

බෝ,බෝගහ, peepul or sacred fig-tree, Ficus religiosa (Urti.). It is regarded as sacred because, it is said, on the day when Gautama attained Buddhahood he sat down under it on a throne which had miraculouby sprung up for him on the instant: see බෝධිපර්‍ය්‍යංකය.
