අ සම්භූත, a. that has not occurred, නූණවූ.

අ සිඬ්‍ය, a. that cannot occur, impossible, සිඬ විය නොහැකිවූ.

අබ්භූත ධම්ම, n. (අප් or අබ් priv., භූත existing, ධම්ම P. of ධර්‍ම), non-existent law or event, unprecedented occurrence, wonder, miracle, අද්භූතය, විස්මයක; B. a work on the miraculous powers of the disciples of Buddha.

උත්ථිත, a. raised, risen, නැගුටුණු, නැගි; occured, සි‍ද්ධවු.

කර්‍ම සිඬිය, n. occurrence of Karma, merit or demerit, කුසලාකුසල සිඬවීම.

කල්පනාවෙනවා, v. i. to occur to or strike one's mind; remember; be of opinion.

කල්පාන්ත වර්‍ෂාව, n. In B., the rain at the end of the kalpa by which the world is destroyed, being one of the three ways in which destruction occurs. The other two are the following.

කාක තාලීයය, n. unlikely occurrence, something as unlikely as a talipot nut when falling striking a flying crow, සිදුවීම දුෂ්කර දෙයක්, අහම්බයක්.

ඥ, A letter compounded of the above and of ජ,= ජ්ඤ, but the ජ්is often dropped in or dianry pronunciation when it occurs as the inuitial letter of a word.

ත්‍රෛ·වාර්ෂික, a. occurringonce in three years, triennial. E. S.

නූණ, නූණවූ, නූණු, v. adj. pret. for නොවුණ: that has not occurred.

නො·වන, v. adj. neg. of වෙනවා: not occuring; that is not (something), as මිත්‍රයෙක් නොවන අය, the person who is not a friend.

පංච·ගති, පංච·මහා·ගති, n. pl. five states, sp. the five conditions in which re-birth may occur: in hell or as a brute, a sprite, a human being, and as a divinity or brahma.

ප්‍ර·වෘණ්ත, a. (ප්‍ර p., වතේ to be), occurred, done, accemplished, සිඬවු.

පාඩුවෙනවා, v. i. loss &c., occurs or results.
