නාඩගම, n. stage-play, dramatic performance.

පරි·කසිණ, n. (පරි around, කසිණ all), an observance and attainment of ascetics preparatory to the performance of ධ්‍යාන: it consists of one of the following, viz. තේජෝකසිණ, ආ පෝකසිණ, ආකාසෝකසිණ or පඨවිකසිණ. The mind and all its faculties must be so concentrated upon its object that nothing else is perceptible to the senses. See each one of the four.

Each one of these, expressing the observance generally, is subdivided into උප, secondary, and පරමාර්‍ථ, paramount or supreme: expressing an inferior or pre-eminent observance of the duty, as දානෝපපාරමිතාව, referring to gifts of secondary or inferior kind, such as gold, silver &c., and දානපරමාර්‍ථ පාරමිතාව, to gifts of the highest kind, such as wife, children, one's own body &c. These make in all සමත්‍රිංශත් පාරමිතා, viz. a total of thirty පාරමිතා.

පැවැත්වීම, v. n. of පවත්වනවා: observance, fulfilment, performance, maintenance.

පුණ්‍ය·‍‍‍ක්ෂේත්‍රය, n. merit-field, field or sphere for the performance of meritorious deeds.

ඵල·සමාධිය, n. (ඵල result, gain, සමාධිය medi- tation, composure), mental composure arising from the performance of religious duties and from religious attainments, or meditation on results.

භරතය, n. the drama, name of a celebrated treatise on theatrical performances in general.

යමය, n. performance of religious rites for purification, ආගමේ පිළිවෙත් පැවැත්වීම; self-restraint, government of the passions, ක්ලේශ නවත්වා—මැඩපවත්වා-ගැනීම, සංයමය, වැලකීම.

රැඟුම, n. dance, play, theatrical performance, නැටුම, නාඩගම.

වෙස්·පෑම, v. n. theatrical performance, dramatic representation, mimicry.

වෙස්·මුණු·නාඩගම, n. masquerade performance, masquerade, කෝලම.
