ආනන්තර්‍ය්‍ය කර්‍ම, n. pl. deeds or results without an interval, i. e. the five අකුසල් which are to be punished in the very next life, viz. matricide, patricide, the murder of a Rahat, shedding blood of a Buddha, schism (amongst the priesthood, සංඝභේදය), and the eight කුසල් or අෂ්ටසමාපති which are to be at once rewarded.

උ පසම්පදාව, n. ordination (to full priesthood).

ගරුකපත්තිය, n. (·ආපත්තිය), great or serious sin (involving expulsion from the priesthood): see පාරාජිකා.

ගුරු·ප්‍රසාදි·සංහතිය, n. the body of priests, the priesthood.

ධර්‍ම·විනය, n. doctrinal part of the Tripitaka and rules of discipline for the priesthood.

පාරාජිකා, a. meriting expulsion; pert. to the four heinous offences which exclude from the priesthood and for which there is no expiation in this life. viz. sexual intercourse, theft, murder, false assumption of the name and character of a 'rahat'.
