අ ප්‍රති සන්ධිය, n. absence of re-birth or re-existence, non-transmigration, සසරින් මිදීම.

අධිත්‍ය සමුත්පත්තිය, n. insuspicious re-birth, miserable re-existence, either in one of the four hells or blind or lame, &c., in this world, අහේතුක උත්පත්තිය.

අනුත්පාද, a. (අන් උත්පාද), without birth or re-incarnation or re-existence, තවත් ඉපදීමක් නැති.

නිර්‍වාණය, n. the state so called, the cessation of all desire and of re-existence, extinction, annihilation, the goal of Buddhism.

පුනබ්භවය, n. P., re-existence, පුනර්‍භවය. නැවත ඉපදීම; nail of finger or toe, නියපොත්ත.

ෂඩහිඳා, n. sixfold knowledge, possessed only by Buddha and Rahats, attained by devout meditation, viz. divine perception, supernatural knowledge and hearing, remembrance of pre-existences, knowledge of the hearts of others and of the various kinds of Riddhi (ඍඬි) or power of ascending and passing through the air.
