ඇඟට ගන්නවා, v. t. to take upon one's self, undertake, බාරගන්නවා.

ගණේශ, n. (ගණ companies or classes, ඊශ Lord), the god of wisdom, son of Siva and පාර්‍වතී. His image in H. temples is that of a short, fat man with an elephant's head. He is appealed to and worshipped as the remover of obstacles in all undertakings and compositions. He is chief of the various classes of subordinate deities who are Siva's attendants.

ඡවඩාහක, n. P. (San. ඡවදාහකඃ), corpse-burner, undertaker.

ප්‍ර·වර්‍තතනය, n. business, undertaking, වැඩපළ.

වසවෙදා, n. poison-doctor who undertakes to cure snake bites, විෂවෙදා.

සිල්ගන්නවා, v. B., to undertake the observance of religious duties, engage in religious duties with a view to merit.
