දනු·ජ, n. one born of දනු, viz, an Asura, demon or titan.

දස·සීලය, n. B. P., the tenfold duty or ten duties, viz. abstaining from killing, theft, falsehood, sexual intercourse, intoxicants, eating after mid-day, from dancing, singing, drum-beating, witnessing ludicrous exhibitions, from indulging in perfumes, unguents, personal adornments &c., from the use of high and luxurious seats or beds, from accepting gold or silver or money.

දක්‍ෂිණිය, a. worthy to be offered, දීමට සුදුසු, that ought to be offered, ඔප්පුකළ යුතු; worthy to receive an offering, පඬුරක් ලැබිය යුතු.

දාරා·වැටෙනවා, v. i. to fall as a liquid or rain, become sprinkled, ඉහෙනවා, ooze, වෑස්සෙ නවා.

දිය·‍රොන්, n. pl. fine drops of water.

දීග·දෙනවා, v. t. to give in marriage (according to දීගය).
