නිජීරතාව, නිජීරත්‍වය, n. imperishableness, immortality, අමරණීයකම.

නිල·ගලයා, n. lit. blue-necked one: ap. of the peacock, මොනරා.

නාගන්නවා, v. See නානවා.

නුවණ·අහනවා, v. to ask advice, consult.

නිසරුකරනවා, v. t. to render unfruitful, infertile or vain; despise, scorn, පහත්කරනවා.

නැණවත්, නැණසර, a. wise, disereet judicious, sage, ඥානවන්ත.

න, prefix, with a negative, privative or prohibitive force. Its normal form is නො, as නොකර, but its vowel is varied according to the vowel which follows and sometimes is merely න‍. Thus නාරින for නොඅරින, නෑර, for නොඇර, නේන for නොඑන, නූපන් for නො උපන්, නුදුටු &c., but not නී, as නොඉල්ලා, not නීල්ලා.

නිදි·‍පොළඟා, n. a kind of snake whose bite causes beep.

නැබුරුවෙනවා, v. i. to bend down, stoop, crouch, නැමෙනවා.

නිර්‍දෝෂ, a. faultless, blameless, guiltless, innocent.
