නිට්ටාවෙනවා, v. i. to perish totally, come to nothing, නැතිවෙනවා.

නිඹුල්ලා, n. twin, one of twins; pl. නිඹුල්ලු, twins.

නැති, a. which is or are not: නැතිදෙයක්, a thing which is not; හොඳනැති දෙයක්, a thing which is not good; කිසිත් නැති මිනිහා, a man who has—to whom there is—nothing.

නො·බට, v. adj. not descended, නොබැස්ස.

නොසෑහුම්, a. improper, unsuitable, unfit.

නව·ලෝකෝත්තරධර්‍ම, n. pl. (ලෝක උත්තර), the nine world-eminent doctrines, viz. those relating to the four stages or courses of purification with their four fruitions and Nirvána. The four courses &c. are: සෝවාන් මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය, සකෘදාගාමි මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය, අනාගාමි මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය, අර්‍හත් මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය and නිර්‍වාණය. See each term.

නු, prefix priv. as නු·සුදුසු unsuitable.

නැඟීම, v. n. of නඟිනවා: rising, ascending, ascension.

නි·ග්‍රහකරනවා, v. to insult, revile, vilify &c., නින්‍දාකරනවා.

නි·ෂද්‍යා·දෝෂය, n. lit. error in taking a seat, viz. violation of etiquette when taking a seat in the presence of a superior, which must neither be behind nor in front &c.
