අ බලි, a. wasted, damaged, බෙලහීන; old මහලු.

අ සාමාන්‍යතාව, n. state of not being general, unusualness &c., සාමාන්‍යනැතිකම.

අව ස්ථිතාකාරය,අව ස්ථිත්‍යාකාරය, n. bot. situs. පිහිටි ආකාරය.

අ සංඛ්‍යාත, a. uncounted, unnumbered, ගණන් නොකරනලද.

අත පත ගගා ඉන්නවා, v. to potter, dawdle, potter about, to be virtually idling.

අම්බු ජයා, n. aquatic animal, as fish, oyster &c., දියේ සතෙක්: මාලුවා, බෙල්ලා &c.

අ ප්‍රපතන, a. not falling, bot. persistent (leaves &c.), නොවැටෙන.

අන්තඃ කල්පය, n. a certain number of years in Buddhism: according to B. man's age increases by imperceptible degrees from ten years to an Asankhya (අසංඛ්‍ය) and then decreases in the same way to ten years: the period required for this is an Antahkalpa. See අසංඛ්‍ය.

අංගාරිකාම්ල වායුව, n. carbonic acid gas, choke-damp.
