පර·දාරකාරයා, n. adulterer.

පිටිකරනවා, v. t. to reduce to flour or powder.

පලාල, n. straw, පිදුරු.

පාද·පතුල, n. foot-sole, sole of the foot; pl. පාදපතුල්.

පිරිමැසෙනවා, පිරිමැහෙනවා, v. i. to eke out, suffice, be barely sufficient; prct. පිරිමැසුණ or පිරිමැහුණ.

පොළඟා, n. the viper called polonga: of which the species are, තිත්පොළඟා, ‍පලාපොළඟා, පොළොංතෙලිස්සා &c.; pl. පොළොංගු.

පසේ·බුදුන්, n. (පසේ fr. P. පච්චෙක=S. ප්‍රත්‍යෙ ක, each several, each, and බුදුන්), one of an inferior class of Buddhas, who appeared from time to time before Gautama Buddha. They had not the legibative power or prerogatives of a supreme Buddha and rendered no special assistance to others, though they themselves finally attained Nirvana.

පින්කම, n. (කම E. of කර්‍මය), B. religious act of merit or special observances or festival to obtain merit by offering alms &c.

පැසි, v. adj. cooked, උයාපු.

පර·ප්‍රබෝධය, n. the instruction of others, enlightening others.
