පඩිකාර·නිලය, n. the Padikāra office, which involves the duty of providing accommodation for the Maldive ambassador and of purchasing presents for the Sultan at the expense of the Ceylon Government.

ප්‍ර·සාද·රූපය, n. the manifesting formation, viz. the part of each organ of the five senses which manifests its object, as the pupil or retina of the eye, the drum of the ear &c.

ප්‍ර·ගුණවෙනවා, v. i. to become accustomed or trained.

පරි·කසිණ, n. (පරි around, කසිණ all), an observance and attainment of ascetics preparatory to the performance of ධ්‍යාන: it consists of one of the following, viz. තේජෝකසිණ, ආ පෝකසිණ, ආකාසෝකසිණ or පඨවිකසිණ. The mind and all its faculties must be so concentrated upon its object that nothing else is perceptible to the senses. See each one of the four.
