ප්‍රති·ෂේධක, a. prohibitive, interdictory, තහ නම්, preventive, වලක්වන.

පා·විට, n. lower part, කුඹුරපාවිට lower portion of the field.

පරීක්‍ෂාකරනවා, v. t. to test, scrutinize, විභාග කරනවා; tempt; seek, සොයනවා.

පරි·කසිණ, n. (පරි around, කසිණ all), an observance and attainment of ascetics preparatory to the performance of ධ්‍යාන: it consists of one of the following, viz. තේජෝකසිණ, ආ පෝකසිණ, ආකාසෝකසිණ or පඨවිකසිණ. The mind and all its faculties must be so concentrated upon its object that nothing else is perceptible to the senses. See each one of the four.
