ප්‍රාතිමෝක්‍ෂය, n. (pro-liberation), the name given to a collection of the various precepts contained in the Vinaya Pitaka. These precepts are read twice a month in every monastery, and individual priests are invited to make confession if they have broken any of the precepts read out. P. පාති මොක්‍ඛ.

පංච·කාම, n. pl. the perceptions or enjoyment of the five senses, viz. form, sound, scent, flavour and substance or touch.

ප්‍ර·හරණය, n. (හරණ taking), covered conveyance, car or litter, දෝලාව; weapon, ආයුධය.

පුරවාදමනවා, v. t. to fill up (as a hole).

ප්‍රති·ක්‍ෂිප්ත, a. (ක්‍ෂිප්ත thrown, sent), sent away, turned away, dismissed, rejected, excommunicated, පහකරනලද &c.; calumniated, E. S.

පයිරුපාසනයකරනවා, v. hold intercourse.

පත්·ඉරු·පිටක්, n. page of a leaf.

පනා·පිට, ad. before, in the presence of, as ඇස් පනාපිට, before one's eyes.

ප්‍ර·ණිපතනය, ප්‍ර ණිපාතය, n. saluting, salutation, prostration, වැඳීම.
