අන්තර්‍ගත, a. (අන්තර් within, ගත gone, entered), interposed, intermediate, containing, included, inherent, contained, comprised, අඩංගු, අඩුත්තු, implied, හැඟෙන, ඇතුළත්.

අංග විකෘතිය, n. distortion of body, deformity, disfiguration, විරූපකම.

අ පිරි, අ පිරිපුන්, a. not filled, incomplete, පිරි ලානැති, අසම්පූර්‍ණ.

අබ කුප්පිය, n. mustard-cruet.

අක්මුල්, n. pl. lit. ends and beginnings, head and tail, root and branch.

අටඟ මග, n. (අට, අග portion, section), the eightfold way to Nirvāna, i. e. the way embracing eight sections, viz. — 1. සම්‍යක් දෘෂ්ටිය, right view, orthodoxy. 2. සම්‍යක් සංකල්පනාව, right volition or determination. 3. සම්‍යක් වචනය, right speech. 4. සම්‍යක් කර්‍මන්තය, right action. 5. සම්‍යක් ආජීවය, right living or livelihood. 6. සම්‍යක් ව්‍යායාමය, right effort. 7. සම්‍යක් සමෘතිය, right remembrance or contemplation of the past. 8. සම්‍යක් සමාධිය, right meditation.

අති ප්‍රභාව, n. excessive brightness, glare, සැර or මහත් දීප්තිය.

අනු ගම්‍ය, a. that should be followed, අනුව යන්ට යුතුවූ; exemplary, යෝග්‍ය.

අපර පක්ෂය, n. latter half of the lunar month, අවරපක්ෂය.
