අධි ගමාන්තර්‍ධාන යුගය, n. (අන්තර්‍ධාන) age when the higher or saintly life has disappeared for want of a manifest Buddha.

අත්තා, n. grandfather, ආතා.

අ ඛණ්ඩනීය, අ ඛණ්ඩිතව්‍ය, අ ඛණ්ඩ්‍ය, a. not to be broken, unbreakable, indestructible, impregnable, inviolate, irrefutable, valid, කඩ කළ or කැඩිය නොහැකිවූ. E. S.

අ ශ්‍රමණ, a. non-ascetic, laic, ගිහි; unpriestly, unbecoming a monk, තාපසයාට නුසුදුසු.

අනර්‍ඝ ගල, n. precious stone, gem, මැණික්ගල.

අ පුරුෂකරනවා, v. t. to render effeminate, emasculate, unman.

අ සමර්‍ථකම, n. unskilfulness, incapability &c.

අෂ්ට විද්‍යා, n. pl. the eight kinds of knowledge possessed by Rahats, viz. 1 knowledge attained by religious meditation, 2 knowledge of how to perform supernatural things, 3 knowledge of the various supernatural powers, 4 divine or supernatural hearing, 5 knowledge of others' hearts, 6 knowledge of previous existences, 7 divine sight, 8 knowledge of how to subdue the passions.

අන්තර්‍වාක්‍යාකාරයෙන්, ad. (වතීති අකා:), internally &c., ඇතුල් ආකාරයෙන්, සත්‍යාකාරයෙන්.

අ මග, n. (අ priv., මග way), error, මුළාව, heresy, මිත්‍යා දෘෂ්ටිය.
