යෙදෙනවා, v. t. of යොදනවා: to become formed, form; comport with, befit; to be engaged in, occupied with. It is also a verb aux. with other verbs in the infinitive, as ඕහු ලියුම ලියන්ට යෙදුණ, It occurred that he wrote the letter or he did write the letter; sp. used to unite a number of coordinate verbs, as ඔහු මේක කරන්ටත් ලියුම ලියන්ටත් යෙදුණ, he both did this and wrote the letter; pret. යෙදුණ; u. n. යෙදීම.

යාන·පාත්‍රය, n. vessel or mode of conveyance, වාහනය, as ship, boat &c.

යත·ලබ, n. (යත as, according to, ලබ receiving), whatever or as much as is received, ලබන පමණ.

යක්‍ෂ, යක්‍ෂාකාර, a. diabolic, devilish.

යශෝ·රාශිය, n. abundant fame, great renown or much good fortune, බහු කීර්‍තතිය. මහත් ශුභය.

යසට, යස·ලෙස, ad. excellently, well, cleverly, capitally, කදිමට.

‍යොන්, n. vagina, vulva, ස්ත්‍රී යෝනිය; origin, උත්පත්තිය.

යොන, n. fem. woman, ස්ත්‍රී, young woman, යෞවන ස්ත්‍රී.
