යානය, n. vehicle, any kind of conveyance, as carriage, litter, horse, &c. වාහනය; going, proceeding, යාම.

යැපෙනවා, v. i. to suffice, be enough, සෑහෙනවා; pret. යැපුණා; v. n. යැපීම.

යමා·හල, n. hall or abode of Yama, යමරජුගේ ශාලාව.

යන්ත්‍ර·අළවංගුව, n. machine axle or shaft.

යජුර්‍වෙදය, n. (යජුස්වේදය), the Yajur Veda, one of the four Védas. It is divided into two parts, the black and the white, both of which are chiefly on religious rites, and its prayers are chiefly in metrical prose, යජුස්.
