ය·දණ්ඩ, n. iron rod, යකඩ දණ්ඩ, bar or pig of iron, යකඩ·පොල්ල.

යෙදෙනවා, v. t. of යොදනවා: to become formed, form; comport with, befit; to be engaged in, occupied with. It is also a verb aux. with other verbs in the infinitive, as ඕහු ලියුම ලියන්ට යෙදුණ, It occurred that he wrote the letter or he did write the letter; sp. used to unite a number of coordinate verbs, as ඔහු මේක කරන්ටත් ලියුම ලියන්ටත් යෙදුණ, he both did this and wrote the letter; pret. යෙදුණ; u. n. යෙදීම.

යොමුකරනවා, v. t. to concentrate, gather to a focus, direct towards, fix or apply (the mind &c.).

යාප්‍ය·යානය, n. relieving conveyance, viz, palanquin, දෝලාව.

යහපත් කරනවා, v.t. to amend, make good,
