යථා·සන්තනීකාංගය, n. (යථා as, සන්තතික spread, අංගය ordinance), ordinance enjoining upon the B. P. not to shift or alter the mat or bed when spread out to repose on. As it is laid down so it must remain. This is one of the තෙළෙස්ධූතාංග.

යජුර්‍වෙදය, n. (යජුස්වේදය), the Yajur Veda, one of the four Védas. It is divided into two parts, the black and the white, both of which are chiefly on religious rites, and its prayers are chiefly in metrical prose, යජුස්.

යමෙක්, n. mas. any one, any person, someone.

යාග·ස්තම්භය, n. sacrificial post, post to which the victim is bound, පූජා කණුව.

යානි, n. rider or traveller in a vehicle, රථයට &c, නැගීයන්නා,

යුහු, යුහුසුලු, a. swift, rapid, agile, expeditious, ඉක්මන්, වේගවත්.

යශශ්ශ්‍රීය, n. great renown, celebrity, මහත් කීර්‍තතීය, excellent prosperity, උතුම් ශුභය.

යමනය, n. binding, controlling, restraining, බැඳීම, නැවැත්වීවම; cessation, නැවතීම, rest,

යාගපූජාව, n. sacrifice offering; immolation,

ය·හුණු(නු), n. pl. iron filings, යකඩ කුඩු.
