රුචිරානන, a. (·ආනන face, appearance), of pleasant appearance, handsome, ප්‍රියදර්‍ශන, ලක්‍ෂණ.

රෝගාතුරකම, n. illness, infirmity.

රමණයා, n. lover, ප්‍රේමවන්තයා, husband, ස්වාමි පුරුෂයා; ap. of cupid.

රෑන්·ගහනවා, v. to put or pass cords about anything, sp. the back of a cart for protection; to brand cord-like marks on cattle.

රහත්වෙනවා, v. i. B., to become a Rahat, attain saintship; disappear, නොපෙනීයනවා අන්තර්ධානවෙනවා.

රජඟන, n. (රජ අඟන), royal lady, queen, බිසව.

රිට්ටාව, n. (for රික්තාව); ap. of the fourth, nmth or fourteenth day of the lunar‍ fortinght; the 4th is called ජල·වක රිට්ටාව, the 9th නව·වක රිට්ටාව, the 14th තුදුස්·වක රිට්ටාව. They are said to be unlucky.
