ලේඛනය, n. writing, manuscript, record, ලිය මන, ලියවිල්ල; scraping (the tongue to cleanse it), scratching, සීරීම; vomiting, වැ මෑරීම; bark or leaf for writing on, භෝජ පත්‍රය or පුස්කොළය; reed of which pens are made, writing reed.

ලෝකය n. the world, ලොව; pl. worlds in general or the three portions into which the Universe is supposed to be divided, viz. earth, heaven and hell, the two latter being subdivided into various heavens and hells, see තුන්ලොව.

ලේ·සොල්වනවා, v. to draw or fetch blood, cause to bleed.
