වි·මුක්ති·ඥානය, n. knowledge of emancipation or of the attainment of Nirvàna, one of the six kinds of superhuman knowledge which Buddha and Rahats are said to possess.

විස්මපත්, a. astonished, amazed, astonishing, පුදුමවූ.

වි·හිත, a. (වි emp.), placed, fixed, පිහිටී; (වි priv,), improper, ආයුතු.

විභංගය, n. (වි emp.). breaking, කැඩීම, bending, නැමීම; division of a subject or explanation; expression or play of the countenance.

වාචාලයා, n. talkative person, talker, gabbler.

වි·වාහක, a. married or who has been married but is now widowed.

වලංගු, a. valid, current (as money), admissible.

වන්දි·දානය, n. compensatory gift; peace-offering. E. S.

වා·පොළොව, n. In B. the undermost of the three foundations of the world or සක්වළ, viz. the world of air, on which rests the world of water, and on that the solid world or ground: see ජලපොළොව and පස්පොළොව.
