වාවදූක, a. talkative, garrulous, loquacious, වාචාල.

ව්‍යෝම, a. pert. to the sky, අහස්.

වැලි, n. pl. (Sans. බලි), wrinkles, රැළි.

වීති, a. (වී to go), gone, departed, පහවූ, දුරුවූ; tranquil, නිශ්චල.

වස්වසනවා, v. i. (වස් the rains, වසනවා dwell), to sojourn during the rainy season. According to B. the monk has no settle home, but during the rains may remain with a householder. Whilst there it is usual for him to give religious instruction to the inmates and others who attend.

වසම්·දිටු, n. bad or false religion, මිත්‍ථ්‍යාදෘෂ්ටිය.

වහනයවෙනවා, v. i. to flow, වැගිරෙනවා, exude, වෑස්සෙනවා; spread, become diffused (as scent &c.), පැතිරෙනවා or විහිදෙනවා.

විදමන, n. boring, piercing, විදීම; a bore, perforation, විදපු සිදුර; shooting with an arrow, archery, ඊගස් විදීම.
