වැඩීම, v. n. of වඩනවා and වැඩෙනවා: carrying in the arms, වඩාගැනීම; increasing, growing, වැඩිවීම.

වියරුවා, n. furious person, madman, උන්මාදයා.

වි·රෝචනය, n. (වි emp., රුච් to shine), shining, viz. sun, ඉර, moon, හඳ, fire, ගින්න.

වැළලීම, v. n. වළලනවා: burying, burial, funeral.

විෂ්ණු, විෂ්ණුදෙවියෝ, n. (විශ් to enter, pervade), the second of the three chief H. deities, who‍ is said to be the preserver of the world. He has had many incarnations or Avatàrs, and in Krishna he is said to have been wholly incarnate.
