ශ්‍රමාර්‍තත, a. (·අර්‍තත afflicted), exhausted with fatigue, විඩාවූ.

ශනි, ශනි·ග්‍රහයා, n. the planet Saturn, සෙනසුරා.

ශක්තතාව, n. strength &c., ශක්තිමත්කම, &c.

ශෘංගික, ශෘංගි, n. a sort of poisen, වසවර්‍ගයක්; gold for ornaments.

ශිරෝස්ථි·භේදය, n. (ශිරස්, අස්ථි bone), skull-division, viz. tablature of the skull, ඉස්කබල දෙපළුවීම.

ශ, n. The first of the seventh or sibilant class of letters. It is a palatal sibilant and its true sound is probably a light Sh as heard in the word Cession; but in general usage it does not differ from the dental ස. Some words are written either with ශ or ස.

ශබ්දනගිනවා, ශබ්දවෙනවා, v. i. to sound, give forth sound.
