සපත්තයා, n. enemy, සතුරා.

ස්ත්‍රී,ස්ත්‍රියක්, or. ස්ත්‍රීයෙක්, n. woman wife; p1. ස්ත්‍රීයෝ, ස්ත්‍රීවරු, ස්ත්‍රීහු.

සන්තකවෙනවා, v. i. to become the property of any one, belong to, අයිතිවෙනවා.

සේද·ජයා, n. (සේද fr. ශ්වේද warmth, ජ produced), worm, insect, පණුවා.

සතර·පූර්‍ව·නිමිති, n. pl. the four great pre-indications which the Bodhisat saw when driving to the pleasure garden and which led him to determine to become an ascetic and attain Buddhahood, viz. a sick man, a decrepit old man, a corpse and a monk.
