සතර·වරම්·දෙවියෝ, n. pl. (වරම් chief), the four guardian deities of the four cardinal points and the four quarters of the world, viz. on the East, ධෘතරාෂ්ට්‍ර, chief-of the ගන්‍ධර්‍ව යෝ on the South විරුඪ, chief of the කුම්භා ණ්ඩයෝ; on the West, විරූපාක්‍ෂ, chief of the නාගයෝ; on the North, වෛශ්‍රවණ, chief of the යක්‍ෂයෝ.

සුන්වෙනවා, v. i. to become crushed, pulverized, පොඩිවෙනවා. කුඩුවෙනවා; extinct, නටබුන්වෙ නවා, නැතිවෙනවා.

සිවුරා, n. hero, ශුරයා; wild fowl, ඇටිකුකුළා: pl. සිවුරු; see සියුරා.

සං·රක්‍ෂක, සංරක්‍ෂණයා, a. protective, preservative, conservative, ආරක්‍ෂක.

සිව්·දිග, සිව්·දිසා, සිව්·දෙස්, n. pl. the four quarters, or four points of the compass, සතරදිග.

සූත්‍රාමනා, n. (සූ well, ත්‍රෛ to preserve), good preserver; ap. of ඉන්‍ද්‍රයා.
