සු·ජාත, සු·ජාතක, a. well-born, of good caste; legitimate; වංශවත්; අවජාතකනොවන.

සෞෂ්ඨර්‍ය්‍ය, a. melodious, harmonious, මිහිරි, කර්‍ණරසායන (ශබ්ද).

සු·ව්‍රත, a. (සු emp., see ව්‍රතය), vow-fulfilling, strict in religious observances, බාරය or ශීලය පවත්වන, virtuous, සුශීල.

සතළිස, n. සතලිස්, a. See හතලිහ &c.

සත්‍ය යුගය‍, n. the period or age of truth, the golden age, the first and best of the four ages, in which purity and virtue prevailed.

සතර·ප්‍රති·සන්‍ධිය, n. (ප්‍රතිසන්‍ධිය reunion), the four modes in which beings re-appear or come again into manifest, existence, viz. born from a womb, from eggs, as worms, or by chance, which latter is a supernatural or spontaneous embodiment called ඕපාපාතික.

සැපින්න, සැපින්නි, n. fem. female serpent; pl. සැපින්නියෝ.

සැරිසැරීම, සැරිසැරුම, v. n. of සැරිසරනවා: walking about &c., perigrination.

සමාදේය, a. communicable, දියහැකිවූ or සුදුසු, acceptable, පිළිගතහැකිවූ.
