ඉකුත්වෙනවා, v. to elapse, emerge, pass away, පසුවෙනවා; expire, die, තුරන්දුවෙනවා, මැරෙ නවා; v. n. ඉකුත්වීම.

ඉ, n. The fifth vowel of the alphabet; the third in Sanskrit, which has not the two preceding. Its sound is the fine sharp sound of i in pin; its non-initial form is (ි), called ඉස්පිල්ල head or top piece, placed above the consonant it vocalizes: as කි,මි පින්, ki, mi, pin.

ඉටු. a. E. of ඉෂ්ට: desired, කැමතිවූ; accomplished ඉෂ්ටවූ; beloved, ප්‍රිය; good, යහපත්.

ඉෂ්ට දේවතාවා, n. favourite god, tutelary deity, ප්‍රිය or කැමති දේවතාව‍: see ඉටු දෙවියා.

ඉරුවේ, n. E. of සෘග්වේදය: Rig Veda.
