අස්මත්ශබ්දය, අස්මදවාචකය, අස්මදවාච්‍යය, n. (අස්මද් Sans. base of I and We), gram. first-person word, viz. the word which expresses the first person, as I, We, and their cases, as my, our &c.

අස්වද්දවනවා, v. c. to cause to be tilled, to get tilled; pret. අස්වැද්දෙවුවා, v. n. අස්වැද්දවීම.

අ භිදුර, a. not brittle, infrangible, malleable, බිඳියනොහැකිවූ. E. S.

අ ලෙන, a. (අ priv., ලෙන lair), refugeless, homeless, destitue, අසරණ.

අරක් ගන්නවා, v. to guard, ආරක්ෂා කරනවා; inhabit, haunt (see අරග් ගන්නවා).

අග්නි රක්ෂණය, n. maintaining (sacred) fire.

අ ‍භේද්‍යපත්‍රික, a. bot. of undivided leaf, monophyllous, monosepalous, කොළ or පෙති බෙදී නැති, ඒකපත්‍රික, (මල් &c).

අවන්, a. drinking, intoxicating, (සුරා) බොන.

අ වාදි, a. not contentious, peaceable, තරඟනැති.

අ විශ්වාස්‍යතාව, අ විශ්වාස්‍යත්වය, n. untrustworthi ness &c.: see අවිශ්වාසකම.
